Sharon to return to 'EastEnders' - Daily TV round-up


Former Queen Vic owner Sharon Watts is set to make a shock return to 'EastEnders' after actress Letitia Dean revealed she is making a comeback on the show.

The actress, who was one of the original cast members when it started in 1985, last appeared in the show in 2006.

“I am really looking forward to being part of the 'EastEnders' team again. The show has always been very close to my heart,” she said.

“I can’t wait to work with my old colleagues and see what’s in store for Sharon.”

Sharon will return to 'EastEnders' in the summer, after Dean signed on for a year, though show bosses are said to be hopeful that she will stay for longer.

Dean's character Sharon, the adopted daughter of original Queen Vic landlord and lady Den and Angie Watts, was at the centre of some explosive storylines.
