Viewers stunned over This Morning nude testicle examination

'This Morning' has stunned its viewers with a slot featuring a naked man being shown how to examine his testicles.

The feature aired on the show yesterday, with the show's resident medical expert Dr Chris Steele instructing a male model how to go about testicular self-examination.

Presenter Philip Schofield looked on as the man untied his dressing gown to reveal his genitals on the morning show.

The item was intended to get shyer men to take an interest in regular self-examination to check for early signs of cancer and other abnormalities.

But viewers baulked at the item, taking to Twitter to voice their displeasure.

One wrote: ''No ‘This Morning’, I do not want to see testicles on my TV screen at lunch time.'

'This Morning' is no stranger to courting controversy. Last month it included pre-watershed items about sex for pensioners. Chef Gino D'Acampo also cooked nude on the programme earlier this year. [Daily Mail]
