Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie to reunite for mystery project - Daily TV round-up

Comedy legends Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie have confirmed that they are set to work together again

Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie are to be reunited for a new project, it's been revealed.

The news came following a tweet from Fry saying that the pair are working together again.

“M’coll Hugh Laurie and I are cooking up a project together,” he said. “We will be working again soon. Sorry to be mysterious but more news when I can.” [Sic]

The pair reunited for a retrospective of their work broadcast on GOLD in 2010, but have not worked together in a series since 1995.

Shows such as 'A Bit of Fry & Laurie' and the TV adaptation of 'Jeeves & Wooster' made them household names in the late 80s and through the 90s.

Since then Laurie has hit the big time in the US playing a TV doctor in the series 'House', while Fry went on to host long-running quiz show 'QI' and front documentaries, as well as starring in ITV drama ‘Kingdom’.

He's also set to appear in Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit: There and Back Again', out next year.
