Find out what's coming up in this week's Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale

Another week another conflicted groom, this time on 'Corrie', there's a bust up in 'Enders' and Moira's in bother on 'Emmerdale'.

Coronation Street
It's almost like some of these plots are familiar. It's the day before Alfie's, sorry, Peter's marriage to Carla and he's got cold feet because of another woman.  Is this ceremony going to go as smoothly as the one in Walford last week?  Well things don't look good at the start of the week. Peter is furious that Carla's invited Rob. Simon has last minute nerves and tells Peter he doesn’t want to be his best man and then a stressed Carla screams at Peter. He doesn't even seem to care.

But in fact, as Carla heads for her dress fitting, Peter is feeling the pressure and reaches for his old pal - and possible candidate for best man - a bottle of wine. But just as he's about to open it up, Tina buzzes the intercom.

The air is thick with sexual tension as Tina and Peter flirt outrageously, but fortunately an impulsive Carla decides she wants to spend the night before her wedding with her man and stops any shenanigans.
The next day Carla’s worried Peter might have second thoughts and Tina points out to Peter he can still back out of the wedding if he wants to. As Carla walks down the aisle to join Peter, Tina watches tortured by her jealousy. With Tina contaminating Peter’s every thought will he give into temptation...?

Surely everyone knows the difference between this wedding and the 'Enders' one is that Peter is right for Carla? He needs to forget about that girl Tina and get with the programme.

Also this week: Hayley is reunited with her son Christian and his family - but at a price -  literally. £5,000.

EastEnders
Having gone through with his wedding last week, Alfie has to face the music. But it seems like a case of happily ever after. After initial cold feet, Kat agrees to move right back into the Vic with Tommy and they're set for Christmas as a family.

"But what of poor Roxy?" I hear you ask. Well, of course she strolls into the Vic in the evening  to see Kat and Alfie snogging. Wanting to save face, she decides to have a drink with Carl as Alfie shares jokes with the punters. Roxy gets drunk and causes a scene playing music on the jukebox and dancing on a table, encouraged by Carl. Alfie tries to help Roxy as she loses balance and falls, but she shouts at him to stay away before - and this is a sign that things are not going well in your life - Phil takes her home.

The next day, Alfie has gone all out, covering The Vic in more decorations than a heroic  wounded General. He's preparing for the best Chrimbo ever - even better than that one when he and Kat were wedded by David Walliams. Little does he know that Roxy has woken up hungover and vengeful. She asks Phil for help - and if there's one motto the Mitchells live their life by it's: "faaaamily first".

So later in the evening Kat and Alfie get a big Christmas surprise - they're being kicked out of the pub because Phil is selling up. Alfie tries to change his mind but Phil says he'll only do it if he begs Roxy for forgiveness, which he can't. So Phil remains determined - and with property prices in London as they are, who can blame him?

Mind you, as he discusses it with Roxy, there's an almighty crash. Alfie's only gone and thrown the bust of Queen Vic through the window!

Also this week: Bianca's got a love rival when Terry's ex wife shows up in the Square.

Emmerdale
Like the Mitchells, Moira’s always been a fan of family. So when Cain discovers Ross sleeping rough in the barn, she offers him a place to stay – so long as he makes up with Laurel and Marlon.

Unfortunately his apology backfires, and the village remains against him. And things certainly don’t look like improving when his old enemy Marcus shows up.

However, after a day of work with Cain – they could have a very interesting relationship, don’t you think? – he sees Laurel and Gabby arguing. Gabby is furious that she can’t have a pony and holds Laurel responsible.

[Is Lovejoy to return?]

Gabby bolts into the road in front of a bus! Ross clocks the arriving bus and instinctively throws himself in its path pushing Gabby out of the way, taking the full force.
Talk about from zero to hero. But his superman status doesn’t last long. Even as he’s recovering with a drink in The Woolpack, Marcus’s heavies are at Butler’s Farm. They lock Moira in the freezer van and begin to work over Adam as they search for the money they think Ross owes.

By the time Cain and Ross arrive home, a barn is on fire and Moira is hysterical. Uh oh. Trouble in store.

Also this week: For Noah’s sake, Charity tries to play nice with Jai. But a trip to Santa’s Grotto sees her breaking down.
