Sinitta is out of the I'm A Celebrity jungle

Sinitta has become the second contestant to get the boot from 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

The singer of 80s hit 'So Macho' received the least votes from the public, and followed Stefanie Powers who was voted off last night in making the long trip across the rope bridge to see Ant & Dec.

Asked the obvious question of why she entered the jungle given her vast number of phobias, she said: “To face my fears and not be afraid of everything. I was starting to really love it. Every day I was waking up feeling better and better, sleeping better and better.”

When confronted with video of other campmates suggesting she might have been playing up to her phobias of bugs, she said: “Well, I'd be a brilliant actress, you know? I even tried imagining I was doing a horror movie, and at this point I was supposed to be the lady being covered with things.”

She swore that it was all 100 percent genuine, adding:  “Anyone who knows me, they find it irritating at home.”

Elsewhere in the camp, Pat seemed more determined than ever to make Crissy hate him even more than she already does by slamming 'Benidorm', the show she stars in.

Bringing up the subject himself, he said: “I didn’t get it. I found myself watching it but didn’t find it funny, it was really clichéd and I found myself detached from the people in it.”

We don't recall 'Fun House' winning any BAFTAs, Pat. The sparky scouser branded him 'a t*t' while talking to Antony, who's no fan of Sharp either.

Things got emotional later too, as Antony and Mark were tasked with deciphering which out of a group of people in a cage dressed in monkey suits were which camp members' friends or relatives.

They had to make the crushing choice between Sinitta seeing her mum and Fatima seeing her son, as they weren't sure they'd correctly identified him, but were sure they'd got Sinitta's mum right.

So Sinitta saw her mum for a five minute chat. And then got kicked out – to see her mum.

Oh well. Them's the breaks, as they say.
