  • <b>Arrival – Coronation Street - Kate Anthony </b><br> <b>Who’s she playing?</b> Pam Hobsworth – Auntie Pam<br> <b>When’s she coming?</b> Later this month<br> <b>Should we be excited?</b> Yes – but more for what her appearance means than for seeing her again – not that it isn’t pleasant. Auntie Pam comes in because Kevin tries to get her to take baby Jack off his hands. He wants rid of his only son because he’s trying to give it another go with Sally. Kevin and Sally together again? Hurrah.

    Who’s she playing? Pam Hobsworth – Auntie Pam
    When’s she coming? Later this month
    Should we be excited? Yes – but more for what her appearance means than for seeing her again – not that it isn’t pleasant. Auntie Pam comes in because Kevin tries to get her to take baby Jack off his hands. He wants rid of his only son because he’s trying to give it another go with Sally. Kevin and Sally together again? Hurrah.
  • <b>Arrival – Coronation Street – Sue Johnston</b><br> <b>Who’s she playing? </b> Stella’s mum. <br> <b>When’s she coming? </b> Late summer<br> <b>Should we be excited? </b> Yes. After weeks of speculation, ‘Corrie’ bosses have confirmed that ‘Royle Family’ star Sue Johnston is heading to Weatherfield. As well as Sue being a fantastic actress, it’s pleasing that ‘Corrie’ are to make the Prices more central to the soap. Now everyone has got over the problems of Stella’s accent, but you have to admit they’ve been a good addition.

    Who’s she playing? Stella’s mum.
    When’s she coming? Late summer
    Should we be excited? Yes. After weeks of speculation, ‘Corrie’ bosses have confirmed that ‘Royle Family’ star Sue Johnston is heading to Weatherfield. As well as Sue being a fantastic actress, it’s pleasing that ‘Corrie’ are to make the Prices more central to the soap. Now everyone has got over the problems of Stella’s accent, but you have to admit they’ve been a good addition.

    Who’s he playing? Okay, he’s not on the soap, he’s helping the cast of the forthcoming musical sing their finale when the musical appears in Newcastle but surely that could lead to a role…?
    Should we be excited? If you’re in the area, don’t miss it. And if he gets a role on the soap, then double yes with a cherry on top.
  • <b>Departure - EastEnders - Charlie Brooks (Janine Butcher) </b><br> <b>When’s she off? </b> Autumn 2012<br> <b>Why’s she leaving? </b> For a six month break. About the same length as it takes to film ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ which is definitely a coincidence. Definitely. She’ll be off screen after she’s had an on screen baby, apparently, so she won’t have to deal with prams on set. <br> <b>How’s she leaving? </b> Well, the most interesting thing is her relationship with Michael Moon.     When’s she off? Autumn 2012
    Why’s she leaving? For a six month break. About the same length as it takes to film ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ which is definitely a coincidence. Definitely. She’ll be off screen after she’s had an on screen baby, apparently, so she won’t have to deal with prams on set.
    How’s she leaving? Well, the most interesting thing is her relationship with Michael Moon. Will he somehow manage to get her fortune off her?
    Should we be disappointed? Yes. Janine is the best. But Charlie Brooks will be a great signing for ‘Strictly’ fans.

    Why’s she leaving? The pitter patter of little feet. She’s preggers. Due in August, but she’ll be working for a while longer. "We've not been going to many functions and I've been disguising it quite a lot," Anderson told Hello magazine. "I think there'll be a lot of standing around the bar and carrying huge handbags," she joked.

    Should we be disappointed? Yes. Natalie isn’t nominated for ‘Sexiest Female’ at the British Soap Awards for nothing. She’s lovely and Alicia is great.
