A man has died after falling from a bridge on the M25 in Surrey. Surrey Police announced the tragic death after the man fell from a bridge, between junction 6 and 7, at around 5:45pm on Friday (April 19).

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and while the death is thought not to be suspicious, enquiries are ongoing to work out what happened. As of Saturday morning (April 20), the orbital motorway had reopened in both directions. A Surrey Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information after a man died after falling from a bridge on the M25 this evening (Friday, 19 April).
