Joel McHale thinks Barack Obama might've helped to save Community

God Bless America!

Barack Obama may divide opinion in the States, but over here in the UK he's pretty well-liked (I could be wrong). Not only is he awesomely cool, but Community star Joel McHale has said that the President himself, might've had a hand in the show's revival.

Jeff Winger met the President at the White Houses Correspondents' Dinner and talked about that moment when he was predominantly asked 'Community' cancellation questions during the premiere for his latest movie 'Deliver Us From Evil' instead of answering questions about the movie.

He said "Our ratings were good compared to the other NBC comedies," before adding "After President Obama asked me if it was coming back or not at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, I really thought, 'well this seems to be in the zeitgeist,'"

Barack Obama seems to be my spirit-buddy, as he has recently cheekily asked for 'Game of Thrones' show runners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss for advance copies of 'Game of Thrones' season four, which I think is something we'd all do if we were President.

Not only that but he's done some hilarious things like make light of comments that he's running an 'imperial presidency' by photo-shopping himself (or getting someone else to photo-shop him) onto the 'Iron Throne' from 'Game of Thrones' comparing himself to Joffrey.

If it turns out he likes Sherlock I'm going to have to buy him a drink!
