I'm A Celebrity contestants face live Bushtucker Trial

The ‘I’m A Celebrity’ contestants will have nowhere to hide on Sunday evening, as a surprise live Bushtucker Trial is being sprung on the poor, sweaty mites.

There will be no sympathetic editing to hide their real-time humiliation, as one of the campmates embarks on the retail-themed 'Horrods'.

Whoever is voted to take part will join Sinitta in her own Bushtucker action, as she takes on the rather frightening-sounding 'Hellavator', a second chance to see her genuinely upset in a confined space.

Elsewhere, there must be few crueller twists of fate than nightclub promoter Mark Wright missing a night out. Sure he's had a few in the past, but this one was different.

After answering wrongly a question set by his mother about his worst habit in a jungle gameshow gamely presented by Philip Schofield, he answered 'farting'. The answer was, obviously, touching things for luck.

So while each and every other member of the camp headed off for the night to the jungle pub, equipped with pickled eggs and karaoke, Mark stayed in camp, head in his hands.

Hearing them murder Kylie and Jason's 'Especially For You' and Sinitta singing her 25-year-old hit 'So Macho' wafting its way through the vines must have proved its own special brand of torture.

Antony dedicated the song to Mark, who he seemed touchingly gutted about not being there for the booze up.

It continued a rather miserable day for Antony, other than his hellish underground Bushtucker Trial, which he actually quite enjoyed.

The stresses of being the camp's self-appointed chef began to show after he clashed with Stefanie over couscous. It is perhaps the most contentious of wheat derivatives, so no surprise there.

He's threatened to give up his Gordon Ramsay bit, but we suspect he'll be back.

As an aside, will Iceland let Stacey Solomon say anything before the series is over? Her voice isn't that bad, is it? Certainly no worse than Kerry's...
