The former child star is now said to be living in motels after her mother-in-law kicked out of the trailer she shares with her husband Steve Fleischmann.

RadarOnline claims that the dispute has been fuelled by her 'hard partying ways'.

A source close to Moran told the National Enquirer that 'Erin was going out to bars and coming home at all hours of the night, sometimes with her rowdy bar friends, and Steve's mom just couldn't take it anymore'.

She's since been snapped by paparazzi staying at the Holiday Inn in Corydon, Indiana.

It's another blow for the actress, after she and her husband lost their home in California to foreclosure over the summer.

Moran became a household name in the 70s and 80s, starring as Ron Howard's sister in the long-running sitcom.

She recently settled a legal dispute with CBS alongside fellow cast members Don Most (Ralph Malph), Anson Williams (Potsie) and Marion Ross (Marion Cunningham), over money owed to them from merchandising. [Daily Mail]
