First details of Sharon’s return to EastEnders – Daily TV round-up

The first details of Sharon Rickman's return to 'EastEnders' have been revealed (Spoiler alert).

Sharon, played by Letitia Dean, will hit Albert Square to ask old flame Phil Mitchell for help after her son Dennis Jnr is kidnapped. Dennis is the child she had with Nigel Harmon's character Dennis Rickman who was killed off on New Year's Day in 2006.

In scenes filmed for the show this week, Phil, played by Steve McFadden, agrees to help and becomes embroiled in a dangerous high-speed car chase.

And it all reportedly takes place on Sharon's wedding day.

It emerged in February that Sharon was set to make her third comeback to the show.

A source told the Daily Star: “Sharon’s back and is in serious trouble. She knows that when things are this bad there is only one person she can turn to and Phil’s happy to help.”

It's so far not known why the boy is snatched, or who Sharon is set to wed.
