Eastenders star to start music career?

Cheryl Ferguson, who plays Heather Trott on ‘EastEnders’, spoke to ‘This Morning’ earlier today about her impending departure from the show and the possibility of starting a music career.

Speaking about her plans for the future she said, “I've written songs since I was a teenager but I never took music seriously. This is a hobby I would quite like to look into a bit more."

Talking about what instruments she can play she said, “I have a saxophone at home, I've got a drum kit, I play guitar, I play a little bit of piano..."

Her five years on the show will come to an end when a storyline involving herself, Phil and Ben Mitchell comes to a head in the coming weeks.

“It's been amazing to play her and I've had a great time at Eastenders,” she added, “it was very sad leaving there with all my friends in the cast and the crew, but she's been a brilliant character to play.”

Host Holly Willoughby asked whether she would take part in any reality show, to which the actress replied, “I do like them all so you never know... Would I go to Australia? I'd go anywhere!”
