The Croydon-born 30-year-old has headed out to Hollywood in a bid to expand his film career on the back of the wild success the ITV period drama has enjoyed in the US.

He's set to star in the forthcoming biopic of Julian Assange, 'The Fourth Estate', with Benedict Cumberbatch, and thriller 'A Walk Among The Tombstones' with Liam Neeson.
