Daily TV round-up – Kylie ruled out of 'The Voice'

Kylie Minogue has been ruled out of a place on the judging panel of new BBC talent show 'The Voice' over her fee, it has emerged.

She was reportedly being tempted towards the show with an offer of £1m, but show bosses feared a backlash over the amount following widespread cuts at the Beeb.

Her initial demand to appear on the show was said to be £2.5m, reports The Sun.

So far Jessie J is the only judge confirmed, but show bosses are now thought to be close to signing Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am.

US R&B legend Mary J Blige is also in talks for a slot, as are Tom Jones, Lenny Kravitz, Ricky Wilson of the Kaiser Chiefs and Bryan Adams.

The show starts in the spring. [The Sun]
