Carmen Electra to join Britain’s Got Talent panel

Carmen Electra has been confirmed as Amanda Holden’s temporary replacement on the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judging panel following the birth of Holden’s second child.

Electra is a surprise selection considering how little is known of her in the UK. Hers is a name many would recognise but may be unsure where from.

She is most famous for being the face (yeah... “face”) of ‘Baywatch’ in the show’s post-Pamela Anderson days, and for a role in the first in the ‘Scary Movie’ spoof series.

The 39-year-old went on to have roles in a number of spoof films from the same directors of ‘Scary Movie’, including ‘Date Movie’, ‘Meet the Spartans’ and ‘Epic Movie’. An acting CV to rival DeNiro’s.

These days most of her time is spent modelling.

Carmen Electra will sit alongside Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon  as the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ auditions reach London.

Holden was said to be in a life-threatening condition after giving birth to her second daughter, Hollie Rose, last week. She has since left hospital and is making good progress.
