Virgin Media TV censorship blunders – Will Smith stars in HanC***

Virgin Media were a bit trigger happy over the weekend when it comes to censorship.

People using the service saw strange changes to their schedules, as perfectly fine words were changed thanks to an automated system.

Arsenal football club became "A***nal" on 'Match of the Day 2', and the Will Smith-starring film Hancock became "HanC***k".

The company took it all in good humour with a statement sent out which said, "Over the weekend a temporarily over-zealous profanity checker took offence at certain programme titles.

"The altered titles have been swiftly an*lysed and we're fixing any remaining glitches."

Twitter caught whiff of the problem and soon the topic was everywhere.
