BBC bid £1m for Kylie Minogue to join ‘The Voice’

The BBC has reportedly launched a £1 million bid for Kylie Minogue to join ‘The Voice’.

The huge wage is double what TV legend Bruce Forsyth gets for the BBC's biggest show, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ — and twice what ITV pay Tulisa for her role on ‘The X Factor’.

Kylie, 43, allegedly asked for £2.5 million, but was refused by the BBC, who plumped for the sum of £1million, reports The Sun.

The move is set to incur a huge backlash as the BBC recently axed 2,000 jobs in order to save money.

‘The Voice’ is a rival to ITV1 show ‘The X Factor’. The twist is that the judges sit with their backs to the auditions in order to judge on their voice alone. If they like what they hear, they turn around to show their interest.

British popstar Jessie J has signed on to appear on the show, while rapper Will.i.am and iconic chart-topper Tom Jones are rumoured to be joining the show.
