Ant & Dec double earnings by £6m in a year – Daily TV round-up

Telly pair's income is up 113%.

TV duo Ant and Dec have doubled their earnings by a huge £6 million in a single year.

According to figures obtained by the Daily Mirror, they added an impressive £3 million pounds each through their separate companies.

Over the last financial year, Ant McPartlin's company Teecourt Ltd clocked up a balance of £6,487,359, up from £2,990,435.

Meanwhile, Dec Donnolly's company Deecourt Ltd had £6,430,711, also up 113% from its earnings in 2011 and 2012.

The 37-year-olds, who started out as PJ and Duncan on teen soap 'Byker Grove', signed a so-called 'golden handcuffs' deal with ITV 11 years ago.

They are currently thought to be renegotiating a further two years with the channel to continue to host shows like 'Britain's Got Talent', 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' and 'Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway'.The next series of 'I'm A Celebrity...' starts in December.

A source told the Mirror: “Ant & Dec are ITV’s biggest stars. They are central to the future success.”

The pair also have a lucrative deal as the faces of supermarket chain Morrisons. [Daily Mirror]
