'Coach Trip' presenter Brendan Sheerin to host dating show 'Love Boat' – Daily TV round-up

‘Coach Trip’ tour guide Brendan Sheerin is finalising a deal to host 'Brendan's Love Boat', a tea-time dating show for Channel 4.

Loved up: Coach Trip's Brendan Sheerin is to host a dating show

It's likely that the project, set on board a cruise liner, would take over from his jaunts across Europe in a coach.

The new show would see holidaymakers thrown together on a cruise around the Mediterranean, 'in a bid to find love'.

An initial 20 30-minute episodes will be made of the show, and it will go out in an early evening slot on Channel 4.

There's apparently no plans to film another series of 'Coach Trip', which has run for eight series since its launch in 2005. [Broadcast]
