Early Life: Sharon was born in Brixton, London, to music promoter father Don Arden and his wife Hope.
She attended the famous London stage school, Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
When she was a teenager Sharon worked as a receptionist for her dad, who was in talks with Ozzy Osbourne's band Black Sabbath.
She and Ozzy fell for each other and when the rocker was booted out of the group in the late 70s Sharon took over his management. She helped make him a huge success and made a name for herself as a talented music manager.
She went on to manage other bands, including Coal Chamber and The Smashing Pumpkins, and created the Ozzfest summer touring festival in 1996.
Although Sharon was well-known behind the scenes, she became a famous face in her own right in MTV show The Osbournes, which followed her, Ozzy, and their children, Jack and Kelly. The colourful programme became a cult hit and made A-list stars of the family.
Career High: Her music management career - in 2004 Kerrang! magazine named Sharon the Most Important Person In Rock.
Love Life: Sharon married rocker Ozzy in July 1982 and the couple have three children, 21-year-old Jack, Kelly, 22, and Aimee, 23.
Don't Mention: The Smashing Pumpkins, who Sharon used to manage. Six years ago she hit the headlines when she severed ties with the band and reportedly announced in a statement: "I must resign due to medical reasons... Billy Corgan was making me sick!"
