History: The boys were originally given a no from the judges as solo performers at Boot Camp but were given the opportunity to work together to form a boyband, along with a number of other solo performers.

Adam lives at home with his mum and sister in Kent. He attended the Brits School and is now a full time singer and promo guy. He has been singing for eleven years and owned his own entertainments company at the age of 18.

Aaron was born and bred in London and has been busking around Covent Garden since the age of 10. The multi-talented teenager has been in a variety of bands and can rap, dance, write songs, sing and produce.

Sean has been singing for eight years. In 2003, he got through to the finals of Teen Idol and in 2006 he got through to the Boot Camp stage of X Factor in a duo called "Ste and Sean".

Richard was born and raised in Leeds and lives with his older brother. He has apparently spent nights lying awake dreaming of being on stage so being through to the finals is a dream come true.

Matthew has always dreamed of performing to the masses and attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School. He performed backing vocals for Westlife and has appeared on the West End stage in Ragtime The Musical.

HMV's Gennaro Castaldo says: "Futureproof tick the boy band box well enough, but as Eton Road showed last year, boy bands aren't really in at the moment."
