History: Andy lives at home with him mum, dad and brother Lee. Four years ago Andy and Lee set up their own asbestos removal company.

Andy auditioned for X Factor when he was 19 but didn't make it through the audition, so has spent the last three years training and has also made sure he practises his best dance moves on evenings out so he can impress Brian Friedman.

After getting through the first round audition, he got a "music" tattoo on his bum, to match the ones his dad and brother have.

HMV's Gennaro Castaldo says: "Andy seems to have the talent that will take him quite far in the competition, as well as an engaging personality and 'boy-next-door' appeal."
