It brings to mind the ultimate fate of *The Avengers*, whose latterday oddball writers went down the same bizarre Primrose Path; one which stumbled into a ludicrous litany of highly improbable *Alice In Wonderland* scenarios, before Steed and Co, finally fell flat on their faces, and landed in the dole queue, along with all the other new-britches' failed experiments, making a lasting casualty, into the bargain, of the liberal-minded, trusting corporate production company that gave them their head. Let's have real non-partisan, non-political, non-sexually-orientated writers et al in what was once an utterly professional and squeaky-clean production, and then we might get something worth looking at, instead of being continually spoon-fed with subliminal ofttimes distasteful and abhorrent covert propaganda, and being continually forced to believe that it is a normal and perfectly acceptable part of decent God-fearing people's everyday lives.

please get rid of the writers and producer phill collinson on corrie st,they are trying to turn it into hollyoaks which phil was producer there im to believe,why change corrie so much from what was lovely programme ,and ive been watching over 42years,thay have spoilt it since the tram crash,if people want stuff te writes want to put in then turn over to eastenders,please leave corrie be and try get some of the originalty back they bought denis tanner ,and he hasnt had much story lines, thankgod though rosie going at long last.
