Anyhow, five million or so have tuned in to see Tom Daley tutor celebs on the noble art of diving, and the three finalists – ‘Benidorm’ actor Jake Canuso, TV presenter Linda Barker and notorious Winter Olympics also-ran (also-jumped?) Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards – now prepare to plunge for glory. There’s a special treat for fans as they each get to perform a synchronised dive with Tom, and then a solo dive, as we see who will be crowned the winner. But the real questions: will Vernon be wearing shorts? Will Gabby still be pretending that this is a proper sporting event? And whose idea was this show, anyway? -
