Like, OMG! Relationships! I was like, drama! But then I was like, totes, amazeballs! BBC3’s go-to gal for “real-life” documentaries for/about young people turns her attention to relationships in another breathless but warm-hearted attempt to unravel the mysteries of the human condition by talking to the youth of Britain today. Good luck with that. Cherry herself has been reclusive of late, she says (although we find that hard to believe) as she cares for her young daughter, but now she’s ready to head back into the real world with real actual people. As long as those real people are all not-very-bright extroverts who love talking about themselves and their relationships, obviously. So meet the identical twins, one who is married and one who is single, who swop lives for the day. Or the 22-year-old who is making himself unhappy in his desperation to meet The One. Or the couple who don’t believe in monogamy. Or the hostel manager who has a world map with pins of all his pulls in it. Gross. The overall idea, such as it is, is for Cherry to find out if being single or in a relationship is better. Fun, friendly, frothy stuff.
