Anyone who remembers the 1980s will always have a place in their hearts for ‘Dallas’, which became the latest TV classic to enjoy/endure a “reboot” this year. Shown in the UK on Channel Five, it was considerably better than expected. Nobody really cared about the new characters, it was all a chance to see JR, Bobby and Sue Ellen do their thing – and viewers loved it. A welcome send-off for Larry Hagman, who died in November.
