Pamela Anderson has been branded the 'worst-ever' guest on 'The One Show' by one of its hosts.

Alex Jones reckons that the former 'Baywatch' star caused the most stress on set, because she was obsessed with how she looked on screen.

She also arrived late to the set of the BBC magazine programme and ran in front of the camera when Jones was starting the show.

“Pamela was tricky. She stared at the monitor the whole time to see how she looked, so wasn’t engaging in the conversation. She then ran off because we showed a picture of her that she didn’t like,” she said.

The interview was aired back in 2010, with her then co-host Jason Manford on the sofa.

It may come as a surprise to viewers that her interview with Bruce Willis was not deemed the worst spot on the show.

She had tweeted following the awkward interview with the 'Die Hard' star that he had 'tired her out'.

But she has since come to his defence, saying that his dry humour on the set did translate well when it was broadcast, making him look grumpy and reserved during the exchange.

Jones added, during an interview with the Radio Times, that she worries about the effects that reality shows may be having on young girls.

“I think there are too many of these reality shows like Keeping Up With The Kardashians which have a very negative effect on impressionable girls. It’s a worry,” she said.

“They think that’s what they should be aiming for – to be the next Katie Price – and it makes them self-conscious about their bodies at such a young age. I don’t think it’s healthy, all this emphasis on tanning, whitening teeth and having boob enlargements.
