New X Factor fix claims over M&S ad - Daily TV round-up

'The X Factor' is at the centre of fresh fix claims over a re-edited version of the Christmas ‘X Factor’ Marks & Spencer advert, that replaces the last image of Misha B with Amelia Lily.

The ad had ended with a lingering last line from Manchester singer Misha B, but now it’s Amelia instead.

Fans have taken to Twitter to voice their displeasure at the move, which some have seen as a bias towards the reinstated Amelia.

Luke Bellars said: “Just realised M&S put Amelia Lily in the ad, it's a fix,” with another adding: “They have replaced Misha B with Amelia! That was a bit out.”

But fans had also been angry when Misha previously got top billing, suggesting that it was done to increase votes for her.

X Factor’ has not commented on the fix claims, but M&S has said that the artists on the ad have been moved around as other contestants left the show. [The Sun]
