On 12 November 1989, 1,697 babies were born in Britain. This documentary follows eight of those born on that date for 24 hours from the minute they wake up on their 16th birthday - offering a historic televisual document of teenage life and a rare glimpse into what it really means to be 16 in 21st-century Britain.
