Synopsis

Drama that uses case notes, ward reports, autopsy records and diaries from 1907 to bring doctors, nurses and patients at the Royal London Hospital back to life. Nurse Ada has to decide whether or not to take the job of Ward Sister, as it threatens to spoil her engagement to Dr James.
