24: Redemption

Yes, he's back. Kiefer Sutherland returns as Jack Bauer in this two-hour prequel to next year's seventh series of smash hit US drama 24.

Robert Carlyle and Hollywood legend Jon Voight join the cast as the drama moves between Africa and Washington in this explosive special which sees Jack face the possiblity of losing his freedom.

Also, look out for a special all-day screening of series six on Sky at the end of November.

Noel's Christmas Presents

Noel Edmonds takes the day off from Deal Or No Deal and puts on his Santa outfit to hand out some well-deserved surprises in this festive special.

Last year's show was Sky1's most watched entertainment programme and there are more heart-warming scenes in store this year including a 10-year-old fundraiser from Manchester who gets the trip of a lifetime.

Gladiators Christmas Special

The return of the Gladiators was one of the most talked-about TV comebacks of the year and this Christmas the lyrca-wearing ones return for a seasonal special.

The likes of Spartan, Oblivion, Enigma and Battleaxe will be competing against some well-known faces from the world of TV and sport. Don't expect any peace and harmony this yuletide from the Gladiators.

Simpsons fans are in for a special treat with the Twelve Days Of Exclusive Simpsons on Sky1 in December.

There's also a first for the animated series when an episode is shown post-watershed for the first time due to its adult content.

Love Springfieldian Style sees Homer and Marge trapped in a tunnel of love and features saucy, love-themed tales.

Don't Forget The Lyrics Christmas Special

Christmas isn't Christmas without a bit of karaoke so why not indulge yourself with this special edition of the hit singalong game show.

Shane Richie is the host as contestants sing along to classic Christmas songs and have to remember the lyrics when they disappear from the screen.

Terry Pratchett's Hogfather and The Colour Of Magic

There is a very welcome repeat of both of Sky's Terry Pratchett adaptions on Sky2 in December. The BAFTA-winning Hogfather stars David Jason as the Hogfather, who goes missing on the night he is supposed to deliver presents to the world's children. What has happened to him?

Meanwhile, in The Colour Of Magic hapless wizard Rincewind (also played by David Jason) must guide Twoflower (Sean Astin) on an action-packed journey, battling dragons on their way. If you missed these dramas first time around, make sure you catch them this time.
