With that excuse for a summer now over, it does mean one good thing - TV is officially not rubbish anymore! Yay!

The new season promises some fantastic highlights including Billie Piper getting all saucy in Secret Diary Of A Call Girl (Doctor Oo-er), Dame Judi Dench donning her finest corset for Cranford (we are not worthy etc. etc.) and a modern take on a horror classic in ITV's Frankenstein.

Are You Smarter Than A 10-Year-Old? (Sky One) If there's one golden rule in TV, it's surely - never write off Noel Edmonds. The presenter made a spectacular return to our screens with mammoth hit Deal Or No Deal and now he's following that up with this new quiz show. The premise is simple - can adults answer questions on subjects taught to average 10-year-olds? Believe us, we've had a look at the questions and it's not as easy as you might think! Noel's Christmas Presents also makes a comeback on Sky One this year. Don't rule out a Noel’s House Party revival in 2008! Blobby, Blobby, Blobby!
