The popular app 'Draw Something' is to be made into a TV gameshow.
US network CBS is to air a pilot show made by 'American Idol' presenter and TV producer Ryan Seacrest's company and Sony, who also make US veteran gameshow ‘Jeopardy!’.
Seacrest confirmed the news on Twitter, saying: “Yes working w/ my pals at @zynga to bring Draw Something to TV on @CBS! Any pinky picassos want in?”
The app, owned by mobile game company Zynga, sees players having to guess which word is being described in a drawing.
It's proved a massive hit around the world, and was downloaded 50 million times in just seven weeks. [Variety]

A spokesperson confirmed: “Unfortunately, The Voice UK Live has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales – customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds.” It emerged last week that the tour had not sold out a single venue. ITV has axed Paddy McGuinness-fronted celebrity survival show '71 Degrees North', according to its co-host Charlotte Jackson. “It’s not coming back,” she said. “The scenery is spectacular and it was an amazing experience but it’s really tough.
