Body double for Heather's final scenes in EastEnders - Daily TV round-up

Spoiler alert…

'EastEnders' star Cheryl Fergison apparently had to be replaced by a male stunt double for her final scenes in the show, as they were deemed 'too violent' by show bosses.

The actress reportedly joked with friends that she's not even in her own last scene, adding: “I'm going to come back to haunt ‘EastEnders’ as a ghost.”

It emerged last week that Cheryl's character Heather Trott would be killed off by Ben Mitchell, son of Albert Square hardman Phil Mitchell.

It's said that Phil will help Ben cover up the murder, leading him to be suspected of the crime by girlfriend Shirley.

Fergison's contract was axed last year and the actress is said to be unhappy at leaving the show in such a violent manner. [The Sun]
