Is Michael skating on thin ice?

Michael Underwood

The brand new series of Dancing On Ice has been hit by controversy before it even reaches our screens.

The other dancers feel that GMTV's Michael Underwood has an unfair advantage as this will be the third time he has trained to take part in the show, reports The Sun.

Michael trained as a reserve for the 2007 series and then last year trained again when he was confirmed to take part in the show. However, he was forced to pull out after breaking his ankle during training so is being given another chance this year.

A Dancing On Ice source told The Sun: "Other stars are furious that while they were learning basics like starting and stopping, Michael was probably practising the headbanger. It's unfair and they told him they think so."

Michael has responded to the claims and said: "Yes, I can see why people say that. In some ways it's an advantage - but breaking your leg isn't. It takes a long time to get over that."

Do you think Michael should be allowed a third chance on the show - or is it unfair to the other skaters? Let us know what you think...

I pray to Jebus every night that Michael Underwood doesn't have an advantage over other Super-Stars who take part in ice-skating television shows. If you will, please recite the following creed: Dear Jebus, I am completely unfamiliar with who Michael Underwood is but I would rather die than find out he might have an advantage over other Z-list non-entities with regards to ice-skating. Please, if he is guilty, can you kill him and send him to hell where he can reflect upon the terror he has placed on this Earth. Thank You Jebus. Amen.

I don't think it's unfair he broke his anke last year so i think it's fab he's coming back. What i don't think is fair is that the celebs are angry at michael because he has already done training when i have read that Jessica has already done a another skating show

Is anyone going to actually watch it anyway? No-one cares as no-one will be watching.
