The brand new series of Dancing On Ice has been hit by controversy before it even reaches our screens.
The other dancers feel that GMTV's Michael Underwood has an unfair advantage as this will be the third time he has trained to take part in the show, reports The Sun.
Michael trained as a reserve for the 2007 series and then last year trained again when he was confirmed to take part in the show. However, he was forced to pull out after breaking his ankle during training so is being given another chance this year.
A Dancing On Ice source told The Sun: "Other stars are furious that while they were learning basics like starting and stopping, Michael was probably practising the headbanger. It's unfair and they told him they think so."
Michael has responded to the claims and said: "Yes, I can see why people say that. In some ways it's an advantage - but breaking your leg isn't. It takes a long time to get over that."
Do you think Michael should be allowed a third chance on the show - or is it unfair to the other skaters? Let us know what you think...

Shame for him but I think everyone should be complete beginners

Being not able to take part for two times due to unforseen circumstances enough is bad enough and others have to whine about him having an advantage. People, if you want to have an advantage, break a leg! And fellow celebrities, it's nobody's fault you lack confidence!

Posted by: robertnicholas13 on Wed Jan 07 05:41AM | Report abuseThis guy is funny and I saw him take to the ice very gingerly at wembley arena last year so he does deserve a proper go at competing this year, he wasn't much cop last time so he doesn't have an advantage over the others unlike chris fountain who did
