Dancing On Ice line-up revealed

ITV has revealed which stars will be getting their skates on for the new series of Dancing On Ice.

The line-up will see well-known faces from the world of sport take on TV presenters and soap stars in a bid to be named the 2009 skating champion.

Todd Carty, star of Grange Hill and The Bill, will be competing alongside ex-EastEnders and Hollyoaks actress Gemma Bissix and former Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallet.

Footballer Graeme Le Saux and rugby's Ellery Hanley will also be battling for viewers' votes, alongside TV presenters Jeremy Edwards, Melinda Messenger, Zoe Salmon and Michael Underwood.

Loose Women's Coleen Nolan is taking part in the show after losing five stone in weight over the last couple of years.

Singers Ray Quinn and Jessica Taylor complete this year's line-up and the celebrities will once again be coached by Olympic legends Torville and Dean.

The new series kicks off on ITV1 on Sunday evening. what do you think of the line-up? Let us know...

    I think this years line-up for the new series is great,I love Ray Quinn he is a fabulous dancer.I do hope he has a geat partner and one that will complement him well.I really hope that he can master the skating,I would love him to win the competition he will get all my votes.Can't wait for the new show to start.GOOD LUCK RAY!

    Oh good - I like comedy programmes. Oh its meant to be a competition, just so long as nobody has to waste their money on phone votes. Oh they do. Oh dear.

    What a boring list of competitors for this year's Dancing on Ice. Apart from Todd Carty (who is lovely) and Coleen Nolan (who is fun), I can't say I'm excited at the line-up. There are so many more interesting people from the world of show business that could have been invited to take part - why weren't they and who chooses these contenders, anyway?
