Dancing On Ice line-up revealed

ITV has revealed which stars will be getting their skates on for the new series of Dancing On Ice.

The line-up will see well-known faces from the world of sport take on TV presenters and soap stars in a bid to be named the 2009 skating champion.

Todd Carty, star of Grange Hill and The Bill, will be competing alongside ex-EastEnders and Hollyoaks actress Gemma Bissix and former Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallet.

Footballer Graeme Le Saux and rugby's Ellery Hanley will also be battling for viewers' votes, alongside TV presenters Jeremy Edwards, Melinda Messenger, Zoe Salmon and Michael Underwood.

Loose Women's Coleen Nolan is taking part in the show after losing five stone in weight over the last couple of years.

Singers Ray Quinn and Jessica Taylor complete this year's line-up and the celebrities will once again be coached by Olympic legends Torville and Dean.

The new series kicks off on ITV1 on Sunday evening. what do you think of the line-up? Let us know...

    I love skating on ice it is a shame that the girls don't do more of the skating. Please let's see them skate more instead of being lead around the ice rink. The men work really hard and achieve such alot. Don't get me wrong it is very good viewing and we don't see enough of ice skating. It's a really health sport every one should be encouraged from an early age.

    I think the line up is Brilliant.. but the people who I really would like to see going for the title is X Faxtor's Simon Cowel and Louis Walsh. LOL I think they are keeping their heads, well down low..but having said all this, both of them would most likely end up arse skating instead.. LOL

    I think there are too many soap stars in these types of shows, the voting should be done by the judges,the public going to vote for a soap star every time

    Glad to hear Ray Quinn is taking part - nice guy and he sings well and deserves to go places. Also will be good to see Coleen there, she is quite a giggle. Dont know most of the rest

    dont think c nolan will make it weight loss or not she does not come across as an atheletic person in any shape or form she looks to stern heavy allthough a nice person in real life est of luck to her.

    another show for has beens trying to make a come back, lets get back to making good shows for television not this cheap rubbish.
