Strictly Come Dancing may be over for another year but the controversy continues with reports of problems with the voting lines and backstage tears from the unlucky finalists.
Holby City actor Tom Chambers triumphed in Saturday's final despite making mistakes in his final dances - meanwhile, Lisa Snowdon finished in third place in the public vote despite getting two perfect sets of scores from the judges.
Lisa's father told the Telegraph that the presenter was 'fuming' that Tom had made it through to the final after the BBC suspended the phone vote during the semi-final.
He said: "To be honest Lisa was fuming because she felt that she and Rachel should have been in the final outright.
"Something went wrong and it needs to be sorted for next year because some of the voting was bordering on farcical. The whole show was just one big popularity contest."
The paper also claims that many fans were unable to vote for both Rachel and Lisa because the phone lines were constantly busy.
Rachel Stevens has admitted that she was a 'blubbering wreck' after hearing the result and had to quickly leave the studios.
Do you think this year's final was a farce? Did the right person win? Let us know what you think...

What nasty people! It was not Tom's fault he went through to the final, and his show dance was simply sensational, a hundred times better than either Rachel or Lisa. As Craig said, he saved the best till last, but in my opinion, Tom was always the most consistently good dancer and the judges for some reason had a down on him. He made it look too easy, and they mistook him for a professional. He was a clear winner and deserves to be on ckoud nine. Lisa's father should be ashamed of himself and hasn't done his daugher any favours by saying what he did. Tom was a worthy winner.

Posted by: royjo_hunt on Mon Dec 22 12:31PM | Report abuseLisa was dull and her show dance was just appalling. She failed to entertain and the majority preferred Tom who was lively, nimble, graceful and entertaining. The point of public dancing is to engage the audience and entertain Lisa failed to do this and should be graceful in defeat. She received a 10 for a dance in which she clearly stumbled but didn't complain about that.

Posted by: simonbrooks1968 on Mon Dec 22 12:31PM | Report abuseregardless of mistakes by All competitors in the Saturday final. Phone lines were busy by everyone trying to get through to vote I got through several times and got an engaged tone. but i eventually got through to place my vote. Everytime there is a phone in contest it's the same old story, whinge moan groan. Tom Chambers danced his socks off and had the more difficult task as the lead. Rachel was great and Lisa too. Toms final dance was outstanding and won the competition fair and square.
Posted by: barney_44uk on Mon Dec 22 12:32PM | Report abuseI thought Tom had a gift with dancing right from the very beginning and believe that the result was just as I had wished. Well done Tom
Posted by: barby1956 on Mon Dec 22 12:32PM | Report abuseI think Rachel and Lisa should of been in the final two either of them wining as i was amazed that tom was at the bottom of the leaders board this week and last week and still managed to win!.
