Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips has hit out at this year's finalists, saying none of them are as good as last year's winner Alesha Dixon.
The judge said that, despite being a good dancer, Rachel Stevens isn't a 'bubbly, bouncy girl' like Alesha and she accused bookies' favourite Tom Chambers of 'over-acting', reports The Sun.
Arlene said: "What's odd about Tom is, one would think, because he's an actor, he would know how to portray a dance.
"But we can see him acting the role and that's off-putting."
She added that Lisa Snowdon was the most likeable out of the final three but admitted that she would have preferred to see Austin Healey, who was voted out several weeks ago, win the series.

Austin was on course to be a finalist but the judges put him in the bottom two, including Arlene, so she should just keep quiet. She also said during the series that this year's dancers were of a higher standard than last year or is she suffering from short term memory loss. I voted for Austin during the series and would have liked him to win. His jive and paso doble were inspired and he is neither a trained actor or dancer till now.

If judges are biased prior to the final then they should have been suspended. Although comments like this may given the final to Tom in the view that all three were superb then the voting public will always have we will shoe Arlene mentality. As far as voting goes its the same for all contestants .

Posted by: michaeldicker on Mon Dec 22 12:55PM | Report abuseI thought Tom danced brilliantly I think the final should have been between him and austin who went out because of the judgeing system he got more public votes than Rachel and Lisa who were both excellent but Rachel got up peoples noses as she was tha favourite of the judges and they always gave her the highest vote even though she was no better than Lisa tom or Austin that is why she didn't win the public vote.If the winner was decided bythe public vote why are people complaining!
