Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips has hit out at this year's finalists, saying none of them are as good as last year's winner Alesha Dixon.
The judge said that, despite being a good dancer, Rachel Stevens isn't a 'bubbly, bouncy girl' like Alesha and she accused bookies' favourite Tom Chambers of 'over-acting', reports The Sun.
Arlene said: "What's odd about Tom is, one would think, because he's an actor, he would know how to portray a dance.
"But we can see him acting the role and that's off-putting."
She added that Lisa Snowdon was the most likeable out of the final three but admitted that she would have preferred to see Austin Healey, who was voted out several weeks ago, win the series.

Stevens already has had two lives, S Club and solo, hasn't had a hit for a while and short of having an affair with her dance partner, will become another has been when it's all over. As for Him, his acting careers dead, 'cos once you've been in a soap like Holby, the next step is Panto, then the dole queue. Prince Charles danced better in the Dole queue than "TOM" does weakly.

Some fresh judges would help the show, Arlene is turning into a haridan

I would have loved Austin to be in the final, he embraced the whole event and wasn't afraid to show it. Tom does look as if he is acting the whole time and not feeling the dances. Lisa looks as if she is enjoying it the most. Well done Arlene for speaking out. The Beeb has fallen down badly with its handling of the whole show this time. Judges should be able to award half points in the next series and thus avoid the stupid semi-final situation. It also should have been a rollover in the quarter finals at the latest. A few weeks ago Rachel was lying fourth after coming 1 point being the leaders but because three others were on the same score she was in the dance off.

This whole series has been marred by unworthy comments from the judges--Len and Arlene in particular.Craig seems to be the only one who has tried to maintain any sign of professionalism. It has degenerated into total farce.
