Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips has hit out at this year's finalists, saying none of them are as good as last year's winner Alesha Dixon.
The judge said that, despite being a good dancer, Rachel Stevens isn't a 'bubbly, bouncy girl' like Alesha and she accused bookies' favourite Tom Chambers of 'over-acting', reports The Sun.
Arlene said: "What's odd about Tom is, one would think, because he's an actor, he would know how to portray a dance.
"But we can see him acting the role and that's off-putting."
She added that Lisa Snowdon was the most likeable out of the final three but admitted that she would have preferred to see Austin Healey, who was voted out several weeks ago, win the series.

Boo arlene! If these quotes are true, very sad that she felt the need to say it all! I love this years Strictly, best final ever!

I have already written to the BBC saying it should be part of their contracts that no judge gives interviews to the press saying what they personally think about a particular contestant. She did the rounds of the studios and gave interviews about John Sargeant and how he should go and, while I personally agreed that he should go, I still found her lobbying distasteful. This is just as bad. I would be extremely glad never to have to listen to this woman's strident and unpleasant tones again. Comments like this the day before the final are singularly unhelpful and uncalled for. Please replace her before the next series.

You shouldnt reflect back to past winners as its THIS years finalists that matter.I hope Lisa wins and Brendan would benefit too from a win as they both have been great and Lisa has shown true grit gettin through several dance offs.Im sick of all these phone in shows anyway its a big RIP OFF, If the shows want you to vote then it should be FREE ! Stop all this profit making on phone calls.

Perhaps she thinks that by 'being contraversial' she will become as 'famous' as Simon Cowell - or maye she just has a book/vid/etc to plug ?.... Or nothing to do after the final ? Let the viewers/voters decide..... all of it !!
