Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips has hit out at this year's finalists, saying none of them are as good as last year's winner Alesha Dixon.
The judge said that, despite being a good dancer, Rachel Stevens isn't a 'bubbly, bouncy girl' like Alesha and she accused bookies' favourite Tom Chambers of 'over-acting', reports The Sun.
Arlene said: "What's odd about Tom is, one would think, because he's an actor, he would know how to portray a dance.
"But we can see him acting the role and that's off-putting."
She added that Lisa Snowdon was the most likeable out of the final three but admitted that she would have preferred to see Austin Healey, who was voted out several weeks ago, win the series.

I think Arlene is wrong to make this comment now. It opens the door to accusations of favouritism if her marks, for whatever reason, reflect her views expressed today. Too many viewers have accused the Judges of bias. This can only add to that view.

( Sad Bitch ) Suppose she thinks shes the bees knees just because she danced many years ago. What a sad OLD woman,I woukd much prefer so see something more interesting on TV than Strickly Come Dancing. She Needs to get a life,and reliase she is no oil painting any more, and ask for dancing forget it.

Posted by: kentarbox on Fri Dec 19 12:43PM | Report abuseWho bloody cares?The whole thing is supposed to be a form of entertainment,not a serious competition.Anyway,Arlene is thick & showed it in making a stupid comment about John Sargent reading the Guardian,probably because she has not the intellect to read anything serious.Thank god this show comes to an end now.It should not occur again,as the whole thing just looks foolish.
