Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips has hit out at this year's finalists, saying none of them are as good as last year's winner Alesha Dixon.
The judge said that, despite being a good dancer, Rachel Stevens isn't a 'bubbly, bouncy girl' like Alesha and she accused bookies' favourite Tom Chambers of 'over-acting', reports The Sun.
Arlene said: "What's odd about Tom is, one would think, because he's an actor, he would know how to portray a dance.
"But we can see him acting the role and that's off-putting."
She added that Lisa Snowdon was the most likeable out of the final three but admitted that she would have preferred to see Austin Healey, who was voted out several weeks ago, win the series.

The people who really matter are the voting public who pay the licence fee which pays for you to appear. Get over yourselves before your collective egos ruin a perfectly good programme.

Posted by: t.martin6 on Fri Dec 19 12:41PM | Report abuseI think the standard isn't as high as last years, i love to watch and see who is coming on the most, I'm not a Lisa Snowdon fan, but she has come on leaps and bounds, but only in the Ballroom section, and that to me isn't good enough, if truth be, i think Rachael Stevens may be winner, she can put her hand to most of the dances.

She has said on previous occasions that the standard in this year's competition is the highest she's seen to date, so why come out with this load of drivel at this late stage.

Alesha was amazing, but this year is very exciting and I love Rachel's personality, Tom is a really fantastic dancer and person and Lisa is lovely! Bring it on strictly, best final ever!
