Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips has hit out at this year's finalists, saying none of them are as good as last year's winner Alesha Dixon.
The judge said that, despite being a good dancer, Rachel Stevens isn't a 'bubbly, bouncy girl' like Alesha and she accused bookies' favourite Tom Chambers of 'over-acting', reports The Sun.
Arlene said: "What's odd about Tom is, one would think, because he's an actor, he would know how to portray a dance.
"But we can see him acting the role and that's off-putting."
She added that Lisa Snowdon was the most likeable out of the final three but admitted that she would have preferred to see Austin Healey, who was voted out several weeks ago, win the series.

Why all the fuss about 'Strictly?. I know loads of people who think it is the worst programme on TV and avoid it at all costs. The judges are a bunch of has-been misfits and Bruce Forsyth is as funny as gastro-enteritis. He wasn't even funny 50 years ago!
Posted by: djallan47 on Fri Dec 19 01:04PM | Report abuseIts not the judges choice who is in the final...its up to the voting public...as a judge she should be keeping her gob shut until a winner is deceided...I think that it is very unfair for judges to speak out before the show is over.....and one more thing....Judges on this type of show are all good as far as talking the talk is concerned....but how many of them could go on the floor and do a better job than the contestents?....I think it would be a good idea for judges to show what they can do before they shoot ther mouths off about how others perform.

If they are professional then shouldn't they be impartial? I just hope hope Tom wins I'm tired of seeing Lisa over marked becasue Lisa is now the judges new favorite. Also I wish we could vote out the judges instead this series and get some more unbiased professional ones that will vote on dancing ability and not all this subjective nonsense mentioned by Arlene Phillips.

She is the least likely judge anyway. Its all turning into a soap really. A pity. The program used to have integrity and that was part of its attraction.

By cancelling the dance-off last week they have made the panel completely redundant. So the celebrity with the largest following of fans wishing to spend money on phone calls will win irrespective of how well they dance.
