Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips has hit out at this year's finalists, saying none of them are as good as last year's winner Alesha Dixon.
The judge said that, despite being a good dancer, Rachel Stevens isn't a 'bubbly, bouncy girl' like Alesha and she accused bookies' favourite Tom Chambers of 'over-acting', reports The Sun.
Arlene said: "What's odd about Tom is, one would think, because he's an actor, he would know how to portray a dance.
"But we can see him acting the role and that's off-putting."
She added that Lisa Snowdon was the most likeable out of the final three but admitted that she would have preferred to see Austin Healey, who was voted out several weeks ago, win the series.

She vindictively forced John Sargeant to resign from the show because she didn't like the fact that the public liked him and now she doesn't like the publcchoice for the final. If she doesn't like the veiws of the public she shouldn't be paid to work on a show with a public vote. Pleas can the BBC get her fees back. Glenda, Uckfield

So it's no surprise she hasn't got a good word to say about the others, especially about Tom. The competitors this year are of a far higher standard than ever. Maybe Arlene should consider her future on the judging panel if she is going to be so negative about individuals, particularly at this stage of the competition.

Its not natural or smooth just very in your face. Re Rachel Stevens, how much more can she be wrong, I think Alesha Dixon was in this season she would have been booted off ages agaon Rachel Stevens is a stronger dancer and could even be as good as some of the professionals who have been in the show. Re her comment about Austin Healy, the only reason she is saying this is that she has fancied the pants off of him since he actually stepped onto the dance floor for the 1st time and could be even before then. Yes he was a good dancer but If he was in the final instead of lets say in this instance Tom then Rachel still would have a betterchance of winning. Arlene is very biast towards some celebrities. Just as Len is towards certain dances!!
