Holby City star Tom Chambers is facing an angry backlash from some Strictly Come Dancing viewers who believe he should not be in Saturday night's final.
The actor was given a pass through to the final after the BBC abandoned the phone vote last weekend.
All three couples were allowed through when it became clear that viewers voting for Tom would be unable to save him from the dance-off, due to the tie between Lisa and Rachel at the top of the leaderboard.
Originally votes from last weekend were to be carried over to the final but they now won't be counted and the BBC are offering a refund to anyone who voted.
However, many fans of the series are unhappy that Tom will feature in the final and some are calling for him to do the honorable thing and step down, reports the Daily Mirror.
A show insider told the paper: "Things have turned sour for Tom since Saturday. He and Camilla wanted to get through properly, not be given a free ride. They feel they could have won a dance-off.
"Camilla is really upset and has been crying. She doesn't want anyone to think they have cheated in any way."
Do you think Tom deserves his place in the final? Let us know what you think...

I really think some people should get a life, it's a television programme. What's wrong with Tom being given a chance, I think there is strong evidence to support a little favouritism towards the girls; especially Rachel, from the judges, lets's redress the balance a little.

Posted by: jcsmann on Wed Dec 17 01:41PM | Report abuseHad the vote still gone ahead, people would still have complained that they could not have saved Tom from the dance-off. Why don't people just get over it, and look to the final as a new day! All three couples have been exceptional, and this weekend's final looks to bethe closest ever. I can't wait!!

Posted by: mary.hodges on Wed Dec 17 01:42PM | Report abuseI think it's fab that Tom and Camilla are in the final. They have worked so hard to get to where they are and it's not fair people should say they should go. It's the beeb's error for not realising that there could be a scenario like Saturday night. In future if there's a tie in scores then they should score the points differently... eg for Saturdays scoring it should have been Rachel and Lisa with 3 points and then Tom with 2 points not 1.... then it would be possible for Tom to be saved...... GO GUYS!!!!
Posted by: beth.roach on Wed Dec 17 01:42PM | Report abuseWhat a heap of nonesense! - just finish it this weekend with a 3rd place, a runner up & a winner! - Are the public really so fickle? This sounds more like a media hype than anything else...
Posted by: alan.pryde on Wed Dec 17 01:42PM | Report abuseGood Luck to Camilla and Tom! They deserve to be in the final after all ...who knows.... they might have had the most votes from the public.
Posted by: thmflm on Wed Dec 17 01:42PM | Report abuseI think Tom & Camilla should be dancing in Saturday's final. He has been consistently good from week one unlike Lisa who has struggled and been very lucky to win dance off's. Tom will get my vote.
Posted by: janet.mclellan7 on Wed Dec 17 01:42PM | Report abuseNo I dont think Tom should be in the final on Saturday because the judges voted him a low score because his dances were not good enough.
Posted by: ksim on Wed Dec 17 01:42PM | Report abuseYou cannot blame Tom and Camilla for a mistake which was made by the BBC. They MUST be in the final and I wish them every success. JoyceA
