Holby City star Tom Chambers is facing an angry backlash from some Strictly Come Dancing viewers who believe he should not be in Saturday night's final.
The actor was given a pass through to the final after the BBC abandoned the phone vote last weekend.
All three couples were allowed through when it became clear that viewers voting for Tom would be unable to save him from the dance-off, due to the tie between Lisa and Rachel at the top of the leaderboard.
Originally votes from last weekend were to be carried over to the final but they now won't be counted and the BBC are offering a refund to anyone who voted.
However, many fans of the series are unhappy that Tom will feature in the final and some are calling for him to do the honorable thing and step down, reports the Daily Mirror.
A show insider told the paper: "Things have turned sour for Tom since Saturday. He and Camilla wanted to get through properly, not be given a free ride. They feel they could have won a dance-off.
"Camilla is really upset and has been crying. She doesn't want anyone to think they have cheated in any way."
Do you think Tom deserves his place in the final? Let us know what you think...

Yes Iam sorry, but it became a personality competition, not even the most ardent fan of Toms can say he was the best dancer over the final two weeks, all this when John Sergeant was forced out because he was the best personality. Very dissapointed but it is only light entertainment or is it.

Posted by: wivus2 on Mon Dec 22 12:48PM | Report abuseRachel should have won by a MILE, it was pure political voting by the BBC to keep Tom in, on the night you could vote for Tom but NOT for Rachel, it was 'busy' all the time. It is supposed to be a DANCE contest, sorry Tom & Camilla you do NOT deserve it.

Posted by: brttnchrs on Mon Dec 22 01:00PM | Report abuseI think Tom/Camilla should have won, Equally I would have been fine with Rachel/Vince or Lisa/Brendan (Brendan's great) although I also think the scoring needs to be looked at and perhaps 2 sets of scoring should be introduced and maybe half points,
Posted by: cooper.kelvin on Mon Dec 22 01:01PM | Report abuseI never vote in these things, however I was compelled to vote on Saturday. Tom is lovely and has had some great moments but he should not have been in this weeks final, both Tom & Camilla's dances last week were far below the standard of Rachel and Lisa, Len Goodman was clearly biased towards Lisa, yet Rachel consistently improved and performed with skin tingling performances. It is a dance contest not a popularity contest, the judges and voting system have turned this in to a sham!
