Dr May Wright in EastEnders

Lock up your babies - psycho Dr May Wright is returning to EastEnders.

Dr May left the show almost a year ago following an unsuccessful attempt to steal Dawn Swann's baby via a forced caesarian.

Viewers last saw the mad doctor getting arrested and sectioned over the failed plot.

At the time, the controversial storyline drew complaints from many viewers and EastEnders' bosses were forced to reshoot some scenes following the real-life abduction of Madeleine McCann in Portugal.

The soap's producers and actress Amanda Drew, who plays Dr May, are staying tight-lipped about how exactly May will return to the series and what her intentions are. However, we are certain that her reappearance will terrify Dawn.

Are you looking forward to seeing Dr May back in Walford or do you think she should have remained locked up?

oh yes, of course the plot was dreadful, and the attempt by the writers to portray her as a siren contemplating a hate yourself syndrome, which is manifested in the way she handled with love / hate her husband was truly ghastly, just ghastly...

I loved the whole psycho Dr. May storyline, but I think that was a one-off! I really think they should have locked her up and that be the end of it rather than bring her back and drag out the storyline once more!

It would be much easier for all concerned if they dropped East Enders all together, the story lines are rubbish, they never deal with the truth and all we ever hear is two mouthy @#$%es shouting at each other, as if they live like that in the East End of London, wake up you bunch of wally's life is real not a rehearsal!
