TV presenter Trisha Goddard is being treated for breast cancer.
A spokeperson said a lump was discovered during a routine mammogram three weeks ago.
The tumour was removed immediately and at the weekend she underwent a second operation to remove further lymph nodes.
Trisha's husband Peter Gianfancesco said: "She may possibly need, or choose to have, chemotherapy. We are both stressed and exhausted from the stress and worry, but are trying to deal with this one step at a time."
The popular presenter is expected to be absent from her Five show Trisha for two weeks.
We hope she will make a speedy recovery and return to our screens soon!
Leave your best wishes for Trisha...

Posted by: t.dean611 on Mon Apr 07 05:50PM | Report abuseYES, indeed, get well soon... ...but recognise that you should take this opportunity to take a very good look at yourself Ms. Goddard, and all your extreme, hateful and bigotted views on life, and change before it is too late. I recommend you read Louise Hay's excellent books on healing yourself, ...identify how you have caused your own illness, and have the humility to face up to it, ...that is the only way you will get well, permanently.
